FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bulletproof product and method for its manufacturing. Bulletproof product includes multitude of fibrous layers, with each of said layers including network of fibres, in which fibres have strength, constituting at least 800 mN/tex (1100 MPa) in accordance with standard ASTM D 7269-07, and includes matrix material, with matrix material representing mixture, including at least one styrene and butadiene random copolymer and at least one tackifier. Product, including metal or ceramic plate, demonstrates minimal or even zero stratification of fibrous layers after bullet hitting.
EFFECT: in contrast to product, which has similar construction, but contains matrix material without tackifier, product by the invention has higher adhesion between fibrous layers in the state before and after ageing, and lower water absorption after soaking with water.
