FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ballistically resistant product and method for thereof manufacturing. Ballistically resistant product contains multitude of fibrous layers, each of which contains network of fibres, in which fibres have strength, constituting, at least, 800 mN/tex (1100 MPa) by ASTM D 7269-07, and matrix material, which contains mixture, containing, at least, one self-linking acrylic resin and/or, at least, one linkable acrylic resin and, at least, one tackifier in amount from 1 to 20 wt % counted per matrix material weight. Tackifier is selected from the group, consisting of rosin resins, or terpene resins, or hydrocarbon resins. Technical result consists in the following: product according to the claimed invention possesses higher adhesion between fibrous layers both in unaged and in aged condition, and lower water retention after soaking with water, with product itself stand the test with soaking with liquid fuel successfully.
EFFECT: obtained product, which additionally contains metal or ceramic plate, demonstrates minimal stratification of fibrous layers after ballistic impact or complete absence of such stratification.
