FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology and can be used for separation of carbonaceous material containing nanoparticles from flows of waste process gases resulting from electrolytic production of aluminium. Method of extracting carbon nanoparticles from process carbon-containing material formed during electrolytic production of aluminium, includes the re-pulping of material at the ratio not less than 5-1, ultrasonic treatment, separation of solid and liquid phases. Waste fluorocarbon-containing gases are used as process material, from which fine fraction of carbonaceous material containing nanoparticles is separated, the re-pulping is made with water maintaining the ratio equal to 5-15-1, ultrasonic treatment is carried out with frequency 5-45 kHz with volume power equal to 0.8-1.2 kW/DM3.
EFFECT: technical result is the use of processed waste material, namely waste process carbon-containing gas which results in reduced power consumption.
