FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to nanotechnology. Carbon nanoparticles are extracted from carbonaceous material. The carbonaceous material is a residue formed after leaching of solid fluorocarbon-containing wastes of electrolytic production of aluminium. The residue is treated with an aqueous solution of organic acid with concentration of 1.0-1.5% at the temperature of 60-80 °C to produce a solution and a residue. Thermal treatment of residue is carried out at the temperature of 500-580 °C. Then the produced material is repulped until the solid to liquid ratio is at least 5:1. Ultrasonic treatment and mechanical double-stage separation of pulp is done.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce power inputs and material costs for process realisation, to simplify technology of carbon nanoparticles production.
