FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery, and can be used to improve brain resistivity to cerebral ischemia during reconstructive surgery on brachiocephalic arteries. For this purpose before operation on the main arteries of head 8-day course of hyperbaric oxygenation is conducted with 40-minute period of is opression at atmospheric pressure of 1.2-1.5 atm in combination with intravenous infusion of 300 mg mexidol solution diluted with 200 ml isotonic sodium chloride solution and with ingestion of vinpocetine in tablets 10 mg 2 times a day after each barotherapy session.
EFFECT: invention provides brain resistivity to cerebral ischemia during open operations on the main arteries of head.
