FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: during a definite time period an accidentally generated control command is applied to the input of the electric drive or its pre-made model. Armature current, voltage, motor shaft speed are measured, and these parameters are recorded in a PC or a microprocessor device. Using a program modified genetic algorithm the coefficients of PI-regulators of the regulation circuits of the electric drive control system are optimised. The modified genetic algorithm searches the optimum in the search area of PI-regulator coefficients to achieve the required transient processes according to the quality criteria for the electric drive set during the process. Wherein the obtained PI-regulator coefficients are placed in the electric drive control system.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of the self-setting of the electric drive control system.
