FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: ramming mass for block lining of at least some refractory elements of refractory lining of metallurgical vessel such as a blast furnace, ramming mass consists of granular phases and phase of binder-containing component of resin and additive metal silicon powder capable of forming a microporous structure with an average a pore size of 2 mcm or less in firing process during production cycle of blast furnace. Granular phase contains at least one component having a microporous structure. First of all, ramming mass is intended to form a seam between two concentric annular clutches constituting sidewall of vessel or between lower part of inner clutch ring forming side wall of reservoir, and edge of one or more refractory layers forming hearth of reservoir.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is improved resistance to effects of molten metal and reduction of structural inhomogeneities in joints of refractory lining.
