FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to piston-type displacement machines and can be used in making high-efficiency piston machines of low and medium capacity with independent liquid cooling system. Method of operation consists in alternating suction and injection of gas by varying the volume inside the cylinder. Cylinder is flown by coolant. Case is connected with environment with piston in upper and lower dead points. Piston machine comprises cylinder 1 with fluid jacket 2 mounted on partially filled with liquid case 3 with a drive mechanism connected with piston 7, working chamber 8, suction chamber 9 and discharge chamber 10, suction valve 11 and delivery valve 12. Jacket 2 is connected with the lower part of case 3 through check valves 13 and 14, channel 15, tank 16 with float 17 and 18 channel, channel 19. Lower part of cylinder 1 forms with case 3 total volume of 20, which is connected to atmosphere with piston in upper (TDC) and lower (NBW) dead points: through hole (21) in the position of TDC and through valve (22) to control element (23) in the position at BDC.
EFFECT: reduced costs for operation of cooling system, higher efficiency and machine efficiency.
