FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: infinitely variable unit comprises master and slave links. The master link can contain a pinion, a sprocket or a wheel with drive levers rigidly connected across their rotation axis. The drive levers move the sliders that transmit the torque via a variable radius. Upon the displacement of the controlled slider the driven sliders move. The suggested diagram of the infinitely variable unit drive ensures the use of the cylindrical or a bevel gear drive, as well as a flexible drive - chain, belt or friction one.
EFFECT: simplified design.
