DEVICE FOR SOFT TISSUE TUNNELLING OF LOWER EXTREMITIES Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B17/3211

Abstract RU 2578854 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and can be used in surgery for treating patients with chronic ischemia of lower extremities. Device for soft tissue tunnelling lower extremities includes tube scalpel and mechanism for rotation tube scalpel. Mechanism for rotation of tube scalpel comprises a housing made in form of cylinder with distal and proximal through covers attached to housing by screws. Inside housing on two ball bearings there is a working element drive tube scalpel with attached by screws to its distal portion of cover in centre equipped with external lug in opening along axis is inserted and fixed by a manual screw tube scalpel. To proximal part of operating element drive with help of nut fixed drive screw of screw type, end of which is introduced into rectangular longitudinal hole in sleeve-hinge fixed with possibility of its movement in slots of liner drive handle. Drive handle is connected at its centre sleeve, including return mechanism with fixed handle, which is fixed by screws via attachment post to proximal casing cover. Drive screw series of flat metal strip, and rectangular opening in sleeve-hinge corresponds to drive screw width and thickness of its body.

EFFECT: use of invention makes it possible to reduce operation time, reduces trauma, reduces postoperative rehabilitation periods, improves working conditions of surgeon.
