FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the method for production of vanadium, nickel and molybdenum of heavy oil refining residues. The method includes pyrolysis and combustion of residues at temperature up to 900°C until ash is obtained. Thereupon ash is converted into aqueous suspension, and salts and oxides of vanadium, nickel and molybdenum are extracted from the above suspension.
EFFECT: processing of residues remained upon application of new suspension catalytic technologies for deep hydrocracking of heavy vacuum residue.
