SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for processing hyperspectral images of Earth's surface, in particular to a method of increasing detail of photography materials by sub-pixel separating of objects and their spectral characteristics. Method of increasing detail of hyperspectral images by sub-pixel separating of objects and their spectral characteristics, in which instead of special statistical processing hyperspectral images and libraries spectral characteristics are used multispectral images of high spatial resolution. For separation of each pixel hyperspectral image into separate objects, invention uses synchronously multispectral images with multiple high spatial resolution, and each selected object is assigned a spectral characteristic of most similar with characteristic of one of objects, displayed on hyperspectral image.

EFFECT: high spatial resolution hyperspectral image.
