FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to compositions for producing a hydrophobic coating. Composition for producing hydrophobic coating, containing a first composition and a second composition, in which first composition contains fluorocarbon silane in amount from 0.1 to 10 % of weight of first composition; solvent selected from a group comprising aliphatic ethers, aliphatic ketones and aliphatic alcohols - balance, and second composition contains a mineral acid in an amount from 1 to 10% of weight of second composition; deionised water in amount of 5 to 25 % of weight of second composition; solvent selected from a group comprising aliphatic ethers, aliphatic ketones, aliphatic alcohols - balance. Coating is obtained by mixing said compositions and applying on article surface or successive application of said compositions on part surface.
EFFECT: technical result is high wetting angle values, high rate of formation of hydrophobic coating, absence of thermal stabilisation of coating after processing substrate composition, long-term water resistance.
