FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive paste for cleaning gun barrels from contamination. Weapon cleaning composition contains, wt.%: esters of vegetable fatty acids 10-90, antioxidant 0.01–2, thickener 2–20, aluminium oxide 7–80. Esters of vegetable fatty acids are selected from methyl, ethyl, propyl or isopropyl esters of fatty acids of rape, sunflower, soya, palm, coconut, castor, corn oils or their mixture. Antioxidant is selected from a number of food antioxidants, in particular from tert-butylhydroquinone, octylgallate or a concentrate of a mixture of tocopherols. Thickener is selected from salts of fatty acids of aluminium, calcium, sodium, quaternary ammonium or fine silicon oxide.
EFFECT: composition makes it possible to clean weapons from deposits of powder soot, copper, tombac and lead.
