FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: sorption is carried out in two steps. The first step employs a chelating weakly acidic cationite Cybber CRX 300 at pH 0.7-4.0 and phase contact duration of 1.0-3.0 hours. The second step employs sulphocationite Ambersep RE at pH 0.5-1.5 and phase contact duration of 0.5-1.0 hours.
EFFECT: method increases the capacity and selectivity for cationites, the degree of extraction of rare-earth elements and shortens the duration of the process.
