FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to hydrometallurgy of rare metals, particularly to a method of rare-earth element (RRE) extraction from pulps and can be applied in technology of rare-earth element concentrate obtainment. Method of rare-earth element sorption extraction from pulps includes two stages. At the first stage, chelating subacid cation exchanger Cybber CRX 300 is used at pH 0.7-4.0 and phase contact duration of 1.0-3.0 hours. At the second stage, phosphor-containing cation exchanger Purolite S-957 is used at pH 2.0-4.0 and phase contact duration of 2.0-3.0 hours.
EFFECT: increased capacity and selectivity of cation exchangers and REE extraction degree, reduced duration of process.
