FIELD: home appliances.

SUBSTANCE: upper cover for washing machine is intended for installation on washing machine and household device. Said upper cover comprises a plate made of chipboard laminated coating and edging frame formed of molding resin material in form of a cast part by casting it in a mould under pressure. Frame lining is rigidly connected to a plate of chipboard on contour U-shaped connecting profile and includes two mounting elements, two set element, two fasteners for detergent tray. Fasteners for detergent tray made in form of four vertical edges beveled in their bottom portion and disposed on bottom surface of front side. Ends of plates of laminated chipboard are covered with a protective coating or a binder or a mixture thereof. Lateral and rear sides of frame with bias in cross section formed in shape of a U-shaped profile, bottom of which stiffeners are made T-shaped. Fasteners are U-shaped with sides of triangular shape and are located on rear side lining of frame. Mounting elements are made in form of L-shaped ribs and located on lateral sides of frame lining. Front side of frame lining in cross section is made in form of a rectangle with skew outside bottom surface. On top and end surfaces of front side lining of frame is made of a continuous groove located parallel to front side. On external side surface of front side is horizontal stiffness rib.

EFFECT: technical result is improved quality, reduced weight, reduced material consumption and simple manufacturing process.
