FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for gas-phase polymerisation of propylene, optionally in a mixture with other olefins. Described is a method for homopolymerisation or copolymerisation of propylene with other olefins, carried out in the presence of a catalyst system. Catalyst system includes (a) a solid catalyst component containing Mg, Ti, halogen, an electronic donor selected from 1,3-diethers, and 10–85 wt % of an olefin polymer; (b) an alkyl aluminum compound; and (c) an external electron-donor compound selected from a silicon compound. Components (b) and (c) are taken in such quantities that molar ratio Al/(ED) is 2–200. Solid component has an average particle size of 10–100 mcm.
EFFECT: method is suitable for producing a polypropylene product having good morphological properties, high stereoregularity and self-extinguishing properties, selectively solving or softening harmful effects caused by polymerisation of fine catalyst particles.
