FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a solid adduct, containing magnesium chloride and ethanol. Molar ratio of ethanol and magnesium chloride in adduct ranges from 2 to 5, and ratio of average pore radius defined by mercury porometry and expressed in Angstrom units, and number of moles of ethanol is more than 500. Adduct has porosity from 0.05 to 0.2 cm3/g and average pore radius of 0.18-0.35 mcm according to mercury porometry. Invention also discloses solid catalyst components for polymerisation of olefins, olefin polymerisation catalyst and olefin polymerisation method.
EFFECT: solid adduct is characterised by high mechanical strength and allows to produce catalyst components, which may be used to obtain polymers having high porosity.
