SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the elliptical seal. The elliptical seal is intended for use with rotor and casing of stator of the rotating machine. The elliptical seal contains sealing elements with abraded coating. The sealing segment with the abraded coating in essence have elliptic form. The pressing elements interact with the sealing segments and the stator casing.
EFFECT: invention improves operation reliability of the device.
