SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of lithium-ion current sources, in particular to the method with production of rod-like crystals of vanadium oxide, method for manufacturing an electrode out of them as well as to electrode composed of rod-like oxide crystals with length of 1-1000 mcm and thickness of 0.01-1 mcm and formula LixV2O5·nH2O, wherein x = 0.01-5, n = 0-5.

EFFECT: improved specific capacity and number of cycles for the accumulator due to usage of material based on rod-like nanoparticles of vanadium oxide produced of commercially available precursors mixed up with acetylene black.
