FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the anode material for metal-ion batteries, as well as to the synthesis of its production, and can be used in the manufacture of batteries. The electrode material is made on the basis of niobium and alkali metal phosphates of the general formula ANbM(PO4)3 (A=Li, Na, K; M=Cr, Ti, V) or mixtures of two or more of the A or M cations listed here), with a NASICON-like structure in combination with an alkali metal. The NaNbM(PO4)3 compound is synthesized by the sol-gel synthesis method followed by two-stage annealing.
EFFECT: creating an anode material for metal-ion batteries with a high specific capacity of more than 170 mAh/g and a cycling rate of more than 10C.
