FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the separation of gas mix by adsorption at variable pressure and with application of vacuum. Note here that the gas mix to be separated by claimed process is, first, compressed by at least one compressor to adsorption pressure. Regeneration of adsorber or adsorbers is executed by means of at least one vacuum pump. In compliance with the invention, at no feed of the gas mix at variable pressure and with application of vacuum the compressed gas mix is fed provisionally and/or partially to intermediate accumulation and/or to consuming equipment. And/or at no regeneration of adsorber by vacuum pump or at least by one by vacuum pumps, the latter no involved in regeneration can be used for other applications.
EFFECT: higher separation efficiency.
