FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for jointing blanks or parts made from laminar metal composite, for example aluminium glass reinforced plastics SIAL, containing aluminium sheets and layers of thermoplastic composite material with glass fibres of different structure. At external sides of joined without clearance alternating layers from thin metal sheets and layers from thermoplastic composite cover metal sheets are placed and obtained package is installed in a fixture between upper and lower lay-on connecting plates with fastening holes. Through fastening hole in the upper connecting plate rotating puncheon with friction force of 5-10 kN is entered and press package sheets at its axial movement forming mounting hole. Heated edges of metal sheets are extruded to form on them bushings and circular collars. Rod fasteners are installed in the obtained through holes.

EFFECT: mentioned bushings and collars increase the area of rod fasteners contact with the edge of hole in thin metal sheets and reduce concentration of load transmitted from rod side, and also increase the number of thread turns in the sheet hole in case of screw connection.
