SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the watch industry and can be used in the manufacture of watches with a split strap. Watches with a split strap are offered, with a supporting body with recesses for securing parts of a split strap and a detachable decorative patch attached to the back of the supporting body, such as a decorative cover made of precious metals. To fix the decorative element and the split strap, the same fasteners are used. For this purpose, holes are provided in the wall of the recesses of the supporting body, in which the fastening elements are placed, and in the connecting end portions of the strap and in the overhead decorative element holes are made, the location of which is aligned with the holes in the side wall. Fastening elements consistently pass through the holes in the removable decorative element, holes in the wall of the recess and the opening in the connecting section of the split strap and are made with a head that urges the detachable decorative element to the rear surface of the watch case, fixing the assembly. There is also a decorative case for these watches.

EFFECT: invention simplifies the installation and replacement of the split strap in watches and eliminates the accidental loss of the fastening elements and the overhead decorative element when installing and replacing the split strap.
