MULTISTAGE METHOD OF MAKING SEALING CURTAIN (ASSEMBLY) BEING BUILT BY "WALL IN GROUND" ON SLOPE WITH INCLINATION OF MORE THAN 3° Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC E02B3/16

Abstract RU 2579780 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular, for creation of watertight screens (ASSEMBLY) by diaphragm wall and can be used in hydraulic engineering for protection of underground and surface water from contamination in the areas adjacent to cinder dump thermal power plants and sludge dump industrial waste water. Multistage method of making sealing curtain (SC) being built by diaphragm wall on the slope of the inclined more 3°, involves division of curtain route and driving the trench under guide wall 1 and at SC. In filled with watertight material trench 6, after its consolidation in previous concreting section is set to the next along the route curtain catch metal guide wall 1 of multiple use. Metal guide wall 1 is made in the form of rectangular box in plan, welded, for example, from steel sheets with width b at 0.15 m is greater than the width of the developing soil mechanism and length equal to catch ℓ +0.3 m. High-altitude position, horizontal position and inclination angle of the metal guide wall 1 fixed support metal retainers 3 secured along its perimeter. Level of clay thixotropic solution in the trench 6 above the ground water level by more than 1 m and below top guide wall not more than 0.3 m, ensuring stability of the trench walls at its drilling and possibility of creation of trench sealing curtain on slope. Reduced volume of excavation and time of creation of SC, expanded performances of the advanced method of diaphragm wall and its scope of application in construction curtains and bearing structures.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplification of technology of producing SC on slopes of ground surface over 3°, as well as at high elevations of ground water level at the distance of ≤ 1 m from the ground surface.
