SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydraulic engineering and can be used to eliminate filtration deformations in the base of water-retaining and water-regulating structures on reclamation systems. The method includes the development of an additional trench 2 and filling it with a sorbing-filtering material in the form of a sand-sapropel curtain filler 6, made when medium-grained sand is extracted from the trench. A sand-sapropel mixture with a concentration containing 15% sapropel is used as a sorbing and filtering material of the curtain 6, while an additional trench 2 is developed and filled to the depth of freezing of the soil in front of the hydraulic structure 3. Then an additional trench 2 is closed from above with at least two layers of canvas 7 made of geotextile material, one edge of which is bent up the height of the side wall of the structure 3 from the upper side, the end is tightly fixed with a thin strip in the form of plastic 8 using fasteners 9, forming a tight fit to the side wall of the structure, and the other edge of the canvas 7 made of geotextile material is fixed on top with soil.

EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in pressure on the retaining hydraulic structure from the flow side, provides drainage of the drain towards its base, which creates favorable environmental conditions for the operation of the reclaimed territory, reduces material costs, reduces the time for the construction of an anti-filtration curtain and ensures the stability of the hydraulic structure.
