FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum furnace for heat treatment of metals. Furnace consists of a vacuum chamber with receiving cavity for arrangement of metal parts subject to thermal treatment, heater to increase inside temperature of the receiving cavity of the vacuum chamber to the specified value and heat exchange device for lowering temperature reached in receiving cavity, and temperature control of thermal treatment, located outside the vacuum chamber and made in the form of closed circulation circuit for cooling liquid, including heat exchanger integrated along the circuit and configured to provide at cooling liquid injection into the receiving cavity of cooling liquid circulation along said closed circulation circuit of the receiving cavity to heat exchanger with reduction of its temperature for subsequent injection into a vacuum chamber and controlled reduction of temperature inside the vacuum chamber.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cooling system and possibility of creating mobile equipment for thermal treatment of metals due to arrangement of heat exchange device outside the vacuum chamber.
