FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of ferroelectric ceramic materials based on bismuth ferrite and can be used for creation of new materials used in devices for recording, storing and processing information. One prepares a suspension of initial oxides for producing solid solutions of Bi1-xAxFeO3, where A is a rare-earth element, x=0-0.20, and performs mechanical activation in planetary ball mill for 10-20 minutes. Then single-step synthesis at temperature of 800°C for two hours with cooling in furnace to room temperature, additional mechanical activation of generated product in ball planet mill for 10-20 minutes, tempering at 800-900°C with intermediate holding of generated product at temperature of 100-150°C lower than hardening temperature for 40-80 minutes.
EFFECT: lower relative permittivity to values less than 120 at room temperature and higher stability of relative permittivity by reducing the amount of impurities and reducing the number of non-equilibrium defects in ceramics.
