FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment. A device comprises a junction unit for detachable connection to a medical device, which is an injection device or an infusion device to deliver a drug, or to provide a detachable installation of at least a part of the above medical device therein. Optical sensors are mounted in the device for detecting the above information, for detecting the above information referred to a condition and/or use of the above medical device. The optical sensors comprise at least one optical sensor configured to cover an image of the part carrying the information, or the part reflecting the information of the above medical device. A processor unit is configured to control the optical sensors and recognise symbols from the above covered image. There are disclosed a system for detecting the information referred to the condition and/or use of the medical device, a method for detecting the information and a machine-readable information carrier.
EFFECT: inventions aim at solving the problem of dose introduction tracking and eliminated misuse of the syringe.
