FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to rocket engineering and may be used to develop extension nozzles of rocket engines. Nozzle with extension socket comprises fixed socket with external end ledge on the side of larger diametre, telescopic orifice with internal end ledge on the side of smaller diametre mounted around it, damper-seal and device for fixation of extended position of orifice of collet type with circular set of tabs with alternating thickness. Each tab is equipped with coupling section in the zone of its rigid fixation arranged with tab as a whole in the form of local profiled section of tab thickness thinning, and limiters of their twist deformation in zone of elasticity, for instance in the form of screws or gaskets.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide for increase of bearing capacity of collet tabs for longitudinal stability with simultaneous reduction of their bending strength under conditions of impact loads effect in case of reverse motion of orifice, and also to optimise required value of drive energy for extension and connection of orifice with reliable fixation in working position and, as a result, to reduce value of impact loads, to reduce power, drive weight and nozzle design as a whole.
