SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic communication via a data network. Reduced load on network resources is achieved by processing the incoming electronic message intended application, which is connected with the user, the user is connected to the first electronic device and the second electronic device, and both electronic device is a copy of the application, the treatment includes: obtaining server incoming electronic message intended to the user; evaluation of parameter preferable delivery associated with a user, wherein the parameter preferable delivery testifies to the previous behaviour of the user; transmission server copy of the user notification of the other one of the first or second electronic devices, each of the first or second electronic devices are first and second copy of applications with no actions in response to user notification.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of load on network resources, which are used to deliver multiple copies of notifications and resources of each of the electronic devices, which are used for treatment of potentially excess copies of notification on incoming electronic message.
