FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: water is injected into the first injection well according to the method for determination of water inspection profile. Water injection into the well is stopped. After the first well period the second injection of water into the well is performed. Volume of injected water is by three-five times larger than the volume of water in the well within the range of absorption. Water injection into the well is stopped. By means of temperature sensors temperature profiles in the range of absorption are recorded during the whole period of the second well period. After the second well period the third water pumping into the well is executed. By means of temperature sensors temperature profiles in the range of absorption at initial stage of the third injection are recorded. Temperature profiles are analysed, recorded during the second well period. Boundaries of absorption zones are defined. Temperature profiles are analysed, recorded at the initial stage of third injection, and the profile of water injection is determined.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining profile of injection using non-stationary thermometry of well.
