FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to well logging and can be used to determine surrounding the wells rock formations thermal properties. In accordance with the method, equipped with temperature sensors placed on the casing outer surface string along its entire length casing string is lowered into the well, and injecting the cement slurry into the annular gap between the casing and the well walls. During the cement injection and solidification using the placed on the casing string temperature sensors, measuring the temperatures are at different depths. Then, using the cement hydration in the well numerical temperature model, calculating the measured in the borehole temperature dependence on time, well radius and the rock thermal conductivity, determining the well radius at each depth by minimizing the difference between the measured and calculated temperatures and based on the calculated dependence and the well radius, determining the surrounding rocks thermal conductivity at each depth.

EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of the rocks thermal conductivity and the well radius simultaneous determination possibility using the temperature in the well measuring results during the cement hydration.
