FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of creating protective coatings on concrete and concrete construction products and panels, blocks, slabs in industrial buildings. In the method of increasing the chemical durability and strength of concrete products and structures by treating their surface composition based on monomers with an initiating system consisting of benzoyl peroxide and demethylaniline taken in the ratio 1:0.5, the initiating system is 2% by weight of the monomer composition processing consists of the monomers styrene and methyl methacrylate, combined in a molar ratio of 2:1, which are copolymers. Surface treatment of concrete products and structures are produced in two stages, with a 30 minutes delay between stages with a preliminary warming composition with monomers at a temperature of 80°C and followed by its cooling at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. First stage monomers with the composition heated for 30 minutes and the second stage - in 60 minutes.

EFFECT: increase in chemical resistance and durability of products and structures made of concrete and reinforced concrete on the concrete surface eliminating small defects, protection against ingress of moisture and dirt.
