SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of acoustic logging in well. Disclosed is a method for acoustic logging, according to which: in well is arranged to displace acoustic logging device consisting of at least one section containing at least one source of directional acoustic signals, and at least one section containing at least one acoustic signal receiver, consisting of a set of sensors arranged in circle in a fixed position relative to each other, at same time sections containing at least one source of directional acoustic signals, and section containing at least one receiver of acoustic signals are made with possibility of joint rotation and rotation independently from each other. Each step of acoustic logging is determined relative turning angle of acoustic device around its axis, correction angle is calculated for sections, containing at least one source of directional acoustic signals and/or sections containing at least one acoustic signal receiver and compensation rotation the sections of acoustic logging instrument, for which correction angle was calculated.
EFFECT: high quality of acoustic data obtained during logging owing to compensation for acoustic logging device rotation during measurements in well.
