FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: screw conveyor has drive unit (1) and cylindrical trough (2), with disposed therein flexible screw (3) consisting of two coaxial spirally curved rods (4, 5). One of the bars is designed as a three-sided double-strand rope lay left, and the other - in the form of a three-sided double-strand rope lay right. One of the three vertices of each triangular strands facing the axis of rotation of the screw and is flexible in diametral plane (10) of the cylindrical chute.

EFFECT: improves the reliability and performance of the screw conveyor.
