SUBSTANCE: screw conveyor with a flexible working element comprises a drive (1) and a flexible screw (3) mounted in a cylindrical chute (2), made in the form of two coaxially arranged spirally bent rods (4, 5). The outer rod is made in the form of an oval strand of a double right long lay rope, and the inner rod is in the form of a round strand of the double left lay rope. The major axis (8) of the cross section of the oval strand and the axis of the circular strand are located in the diametral plane (9) of the screw conveyor chute.
