FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway rolling stock and concerns tank cars for transportation of thickening and crystallizing products, in particular for transportation of urea formaldehyde resin, carbamide-formaldehyde concentrate, as well as for transportation of inflammable, toxic and pungent liquids. This is achieved by the fact that nonexplosive tank car containing boiler made of cylindrical shell and two face bottoms, hatch, safety-inlet valve, drain device arranged in lower part of cylindrical shell, heating jacket arranged in the lower part of boiler, herewith cylindrical shell of the boiler is equipped with shadow protection which is arranged and rigidly fixed on both sides of hatch, angle of boiler shadow protection is 150-160°, while clearance between them is equal to 50-60 mm, the shadow protection is removable, according to invention it is additionally equipped with explosion-proof device with safety indicator on breaking element installed in access hatch and containing valve body, heat-insulating and disruptive elements, lined load gate covering the hole in the body of protected object, and in the upper cylindrical part of the valve body there is heat-insulating element and sealing membrane pressed against valve body by means of cover articulated with lever interacting with baffle plate, and the attachment point of disruptive element is fixed with its upper part on the lever, and the lower part - on upper cylindrical part of the valve body and bursting element consists of a wire, locking bolt fork lever valve cover nut, two drums, located respectively in the fork lever valve cover plate, and in the upper cylindrical part of valve body, wire ends are inserted into holes of drums and then, wound on them while clearance h between forks is about (1.5÷3) of wire diameter, and valve parameters are located in the following optimum value intervals: c=H/Dy=2.5÷3.0, where Dy is diameter of upper cylindrical part of valve body equal to maximum size of holes in protected object body; H is height of assembled valve, where safety indicator is fixed on disruptive element wire in the form of sensor responding to deformation, for example resistive strain gauge, the output of which is connected with signal amplifier, for example strain gauge amplifier, and output of strain gauge amplifier is connected to input of device warning about emergency situation, while disruptive element wire with fixed safety indicator sensor is made elastic and has several turns in part connected with safety indicator sensor.

EFFECT: technically attainable result is improved explosion safety of railway cisterns during transportation of flammable, explosive liquids.
