FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for explosion protection of process equipment. In the method of explosion protection with an emergency alert system, due to the fact that within the elastic elements additional resilient elements are coaxially provided, and made in the form of cylindrical helical springs, wherein their upper end is connected to the base of the damping device, and the lower end is in free state and protrudes beyond the bottom plane of the resilient elements at the distance, which is defined by the force, developed by the shock blast wave, in the damping device, coaxially embracing the resilient spring elements and not protruding beyond their lower surface, a bushing is attached to the base of the damping device, wherein the bushing is made of a rapidly disintegrating material, glass "triplex", and a safety indicator is attached to the outer surface of this bushing, and responding to the occurrence of an emergency situation, performed in the form of a sensor, responsive to deformation, strain gage, output of which is connected to a signal amplifier, strain gage, and the output of the strain gage amplifier is connected to the input of the device of the emergency alert system.
EFFECT: efficiency of protection of technological equipment against explosions is increased.
