FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the method and device for treatment of initial flow of product (raw synthetic gas/syngas) received in process of underground coal gasification (UCG). The device comprises a separator designed for separation of fluids and solid particles from raw synthetic gas received in UCG process, and the above separator comprises a vessel with top section and bottom section; inlet gas feed channel; outlet gas channel placed above inlet gas feed channel; outlet fluid channel placed above inlet gas feed channel; and basket strainer placed in the vessel bottom section, at that the vessel bottom section contains separated fluids and solid particles; and outlet system to release raw synthetic gas with high concentration of oxygen into the atmosphere, at that the outlet system comprises a vertical vessel; gas outlet channel in the vessel top section; fluid seal in the vessel bottom section; and gas inlet channel in order to deliver coming synthetic gas to fluid seal. The invention may be used for the purpose of insulation, treatment and manipulation with flow of initial UCG product formed at ignition or decommissioning of underground gas generator.

EFFECT: invention allows making flow of initial UCG product fit for further usage, for example for energy production or usage in chemical industry.
