FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to drone and method of preventing its collision with other aircrafts. For the purpose of collision preventing the position of the foreign aircraft relative to drone angular velocity is measured and angular velocity of foreign aircraft in horizontal plane is determined, then it is determined whether it is equipped with TCAS system and drone flies within predetermined divergence path according to the received notification from TCAS of foreign aircraft. If foreign aircraft is not equipped with TCAS system the divergence path is to be determined independently. Drone for implementing the method preventing collision contains S-mode transponder, interrogator transponder, means for determining position and angular velocity of foreign aircraft as well as flight control system.

EFFECT: possibility of determining position of foreign aircraft and deviating from collision.
