SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to garden equipment. Electric mower comprises housing with electric motor, blade cut-off device and locking device. Cut-off device contains first switch, second switch and main circuit breaker. First and second circuit breakers contain actuators. Actuating elements interact with each other to bring main circuit breaker in on-position. Main circuit breaker is switched on when at first, first and then second switches are switched on. At incorrect sequence switching on actuating elements of first and second switches not interact with each other and main switch is not switched on. Locking device prevents activation of first switch after movement of second switch in position of turning on when first switch is switched off.

EFFECT: longer service life of cutter.
