SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connecting devices for connecting the protective device of knife with a housing of gardening tool. The connecting device comprises a connecting element and a removal preventing device. The connecting element is made with an ability to move in the direction of connection for connecting the protective device with a garden tool. The removal preventing device is provided on the protective device and is made to ensure loosening of the connecting element in a direction opposite to direction of connection. The said removal preventing device prevents accidental removal of untwisted connecting element.
EFFECT: increased reliability of protection of connecting element from falling out.
