SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tool for cutting of food products into pieces. Tool for cutting into pieces of food products contains cutting element (2) with lug (11). Cutting element abuts on support surface (3). Ledge forms longitudinal cutting element (13) for lengthwise chopping of food products. Ledge also comprises transverse plate (10). Transversal plate is equipped with two elements (14) of cross cutting with formation of two channels (12) to cut food products. Ledge (11) comprises front groove (15); element (13) of longitudinal cutting is located between transverse plate (10) and frontal groove (15). There is retaining element (4) rigidly coupled with support surface (3). Retaining element (4) is inserted into front groove (15). Invention also relates to preparation of food products and device for preparation of food products.
EFFECT: technical result is increased strength of product while maintaining ease of its production.
