SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly to leakage current limiters. An inductive leakage current limiter (1) includes a normally conductive system (2) of a primary coil having a multitude of coils (3), and a superconductive short-circuited system (4) of a secondary coil. The primary coil system (2) and the secondary coil system (4) are placed at least coaxially. The secondary coil system (4) includes the first coil section (4a) and the second coil system (4b). The first section (4a) of the secondary coil system (4) is placed radially inside turns (3) of the primary coil system (2). The second section (4b) of the secondary coil system (4) is placed radially outside turns (3) of the primary coil system (2).

EFFECT: increased efficiency factor by an increase in the inductivity ratio.
