FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to leakage current limiters. Inductive leakage current limiter (1) includes normally conductive primary coil system (2), having multiple turns (3), and superconductive short-circuited secondary coil system (4). Primary coil system (2) and secondary coil system (4) are located at least substantially aligned and at least partially inserted one into another. Primary coil system (2) includes first (2a) and second section (2b) of coil. Turns (3) of first section (2a) of primary coil system (2) are located radially inside secondary coil system (4). Turns(3) of second section (2b) are located radially outside secondary coil system (4).

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency by increasing ratio of inductances.
