FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mobile protective container type "C", intended for storage and transportation of spent fuel assemblies of nuclear power plants all types of transport, including air. Transport-packing kit for transportation and storage of spent nuclear fuel includes container, at ends of which are installed removable anti-shock dampers each is made in form of a set. Set consists of at least of two rings installed before end of container and interconnected by concentric cylinders. Container is a double-housing structure, wherein each of housings is made in form of a shell with tightly installed cover. Cover of inner body is turned to bottom of external housing with end ring on which there is a lateral damper, which is a cylinder with longitudinal ribs at ends of which are symmetrically fixed cylindrical shells, extending beyond their limits, partially covering side surface of end of removable anti-shock dampers.

EFFECT: reduced dynamic impact loads on container regardless of direction of action in emergency situations, possible during transportation, especially air transport, as well as transportation of carried cargo.
