FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering, in particular to radiation-protective containers intended both for technological handling and for their transportation along public roads. The dual-purpose transport packaging set (TPS) contains a metal case with ribs on the outer surface, with a bottom with a damper, with lids. A cover is installed in the housing cavity. The cover includes a base and spacer plates, a central tube and channels for fuel assemblies, as well as a central bushing made of copper alloy, upper and lower sleeves. The upper and lower glasses are separated by steel discs.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of heat transfer from the irradiated fuel assembly of fast neutron reactors with a short active part to the container body.
