FIELD: optical instrument.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to optical instrument engineering and can be used for the axisymmetric high-precision optical surfaces. Processing method comprises rotating of the workpiece around the axis of symmetry of the treated surface, reciprocating rocking motion of multielement tool contacting the work items to the work surface in the annular zones disposed concentrically and coaxially with the tool and the machined surface shaping control. Space above the work surface creating a radial magnetic field symmetry axis coincides with the axis of the tool. At each of its operating elements an inductor is placed on the condition of its turns intersecting with lines of force created by the radial magnetic field at points equidistant from the axis of symmetry of the magnetic field through which an electric current.
